Our process is simple and thoughtful.

The Nyot Kok Foundation places its values at the heart of community and services. It was built on the unwavering commitment to education, peace-building, and human rights intended to leave an indelible mark on countless lives in South Sudan and beyond.

Our Approach

The Foundation has 4 main thematic areas:

Women Empowerment, Youth Engagement, Children and Water Access.

In the near future, the foundation hopes to expand into Agriculture and Livelihoods.

Some of our programs include Water Access, Humanitarian Assistance, Single Mothers Program and “Christmas Jingle”.

Single Mothers Digital Literacy Program

The single mothers digital literacy program seeks to tackle digital illiteracy and provide participants with crucial digital competencies, personal growth and emotional support aiming to boast their social economic resilience and integrate them into the work force.

Nuswan Fi Sanduk

Nuswan Fi Sanduk is a project that aims to influence and encourage women in political spaces participation in elections and electoral processes by empowering them with skills to relate with young people, take up available leadership spaces and effect meaningful change through interpersonal and digital tools skills set.

Roots to Bloom

Roots to Bloom is an empowerment program designed to address the critical needs of adolescent girls in Juba, South Sudan. The project focuses on trauma healing, menstrual hygiene management, self-esteem development, and leadership skills. By equipping girls with knowledge, emotional support, and life skills, the project aims to improve their well-being, educational outcomes, and community engagement..

Water Access Program

The Water Access Program, the foundation’s first initiative, improved safe drinking water access for about 400 people in the South Sudanese community. This effort enhanced community well-being and built trust in the foundation’s ability to address urgent needs.
